Voluntary Car Service
We have drivers based in Gosberton, Old Leake and Boston
We are the voluntary car service operating in your area to provide transport for you to all your local GP doctor appointments or hospital appointments.
Approved by Lincoln County and Easy Lindsey District Council, our office is based within Louth County Hospital and you can phone us there to arrange all your transport needs.
Any transport you book is for you alone. You will not be sharing with any other patients. Although, if you would like to take another person with you, that's fine. The service is for you alone.
We can arrange to take you to whatever hospital you need. These includes:
Where you need to go, we can get you there. We can even get you home from hospital when discharged as an inpatient. The ward nursing staff will call us for you.
A car can also be booked for your other appointments i.e. Dentist, Chiropody, Optician, Physiotherapy or the Louth Woldside day clinic. We will also take you to visit relatives or friends who are in hospital.
All of our drivers have to go through police checks and have full insurance to ensure your safety. You can use this service with complete confidence.
Our drivers are based locally. All our helpers (drivers and office staff) are voluntary workers and receive no payment, but we do have to charge for the cost of running the cars and office overheads.
The minimum charge is £4. This is for up to a 10 mile round trip. Thereafter, it is 45p for each additional mile.
So call us anytime on 01507 609535. Please note: The job needs to be booked before 9:00 at least two days before your appointment.
Drivers are based in Gosberton, Old Leake and Boston.
